Briley has had a good day today!! She has had lots of visitors, and has gotten many new toys!! She has surgery at 7:30 in the morning to take out bone marrow and to do a spinal tap. She will also get her first chemo during the surgery as well. Please pray that her type of cancer is easily treatable. We are also praying that her body responds well during the first 2 weeks, as this is critical for her speedy recovery!! We are blessed to have so many amazing people supporting us. Thank you for all of the prayers. God is wonderful!!

Praying that GOD will flood you with the peace that passes understanding knowing that those of us back home are praying. Jeremiah 33:6 "Behold, I will bring you health and cure, and I will cure you, and will reveal unto you the abundance of peace and truth."

ReplyDeleteI once attended a lecture that was given by a young man's mother. He'd been involved in an accident and had long term brain damage. They used his injury to educate others and be an inspiration to many. It's like you and John have both said, Briley has a purpose and she will be strong and show us all what her purpose is! I remember from that lecture the mother saying the doctor telling her "It's the medical professionals job to lay everything out on the table, including giving you the worst possible outcome, but then it becomes your job to find the stength and courage to face it and hope for the best." You all have quite a cheering section and I just know she's going to have the best outcome in the long run! We will continue to keep your family close to our hearts. And by the way, Callan says his Angel of God prayer every night and has added Briley to the end of his prayer!

ReplyDeleteHi my name is Jennifer Fox Craig Kara Fox is my sister in law she called me friday night when she heard the news.. It hit home my 20 years now. When she was 3 we had the same thing happen to us she had been sick had blood work done and got a phone call at 5pm from our local doc and he said we needed to pack some cloths and head to Scott& white in Temple tx there is a team waiting for you on 3rd floor that it looks like Brandi may have some kind of leukemia they have seen her blood work and is got a plan to do more test and would be able to tell us more the next day... so needless to say we couldn't sleep that night all we did was pray they did tell us there is a good and bad leukemia one was a child and the other was adult.. So our pray was ok Lord it in your hands I know you have a plan for Brandi we give it all to you so we as parent we ask if she has to have some kind of leukemia PLEASE let it be the children cause the remission rate is very high. and we know that kids are fighters and we will over come this in Jesus name amen... Sure enough her bone marrow showed she had Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia aka (ALL) she had a port put in and chemo was started the minute her port was in place.... she was in remission at her 6wks appt. but during that time we spent most of our time back and forth for over nights stay and had chemo iv all night and next day then home and do it all over again in 2 days she also took meds by mouth as well and spinal tap once a week I know this is alot but I pray that ya'll find out what it is and she is in remmission as fast as Bran was remember kids are strong and they need us as parent to be strong to.. I know it is hard to see your little girl go through this it will be a bumpy road but looks like you have lots of support and we will be praying down hear in Hamilton Tx as well.. also there is a little girl from Hico that is going through this as well there in Cooks I will get a name and maybe you can look them up... god will be with you ..Jennifer call me anytime if you have question Kara has my #'s
